Please be aware that we will award special discounts to groups (10 or more people) or for a prolonged stay of 5 nights or longer.

The following conditions apply to Children:

Kids under 2 years old we welcome them for free
Kids aged 3 to 7 quarter the adult rate
Kids aged 8 to 11 half the adult rate
Kids aged 12 and older adult Rate

Credit Cards

We accept Visa and Mastercad Cards. We are unfortunately unable to accept foreign currency or Travelers cheques. All transactions include 14% VAT.

Reservations / Bookings

  • A reservation will only be considered as confirmed - or booked - on receipt of a 50% deposit into the following account:

  • A reservation will automatically lapse if a deposit is not received within 3 days.
  • Although we will be notified of a deposit, please also fax a copy of the deposit slip within 2 days to us at - Fax No. +27 (0) 86 582 5503.
  • It is important to write your full name and date of arrival in the reference section of your deposit slip.
  • The following Terms and Conditions are deemed accepted on receipt of a deposit.

Terms & Conditions

  • The outstanding balance is payable on arrival. Thank you.
  • Likewise, the deposit receipt must be presented on arrival.
  • Our rooms are available from 14h00 and are to be vacated by 10h00 on the day of departure. The booking will be deemed cancelled if not taken up by 17h00 unless prior notification has been given for late arrival.
  • Children under 12 years old shall be under parental supervision at all times - indoors and outdoors.
  • Please - pets are only allowed with prior arrangement.
  • No towels/linen or utensils are allowed to be removed from the Guest Lodge.
  • Guests will be held liable for any breakages or damage whilst on the premises.
  • No persons other than those quoted for are permitted to share the accommodation.
  • A single person supplement can be accommodated by arrangement.
  • Breakfast is served strictly between 07h00 and 09h00, please note late arrivals are not catered for.
  • If our workload permits, we will gladly wash and dry your laundry. The cost of which will be added to your account.
  • The following cancellation conditions apply:

Cancellations

  • The full price will be charged to guests who depart early. If we are able to re-let the room/s for the cancelled period or part of that period, a 75% refund of the cancelled period will be refunded after 30 days.
  • If a cancellation is made:
    • less than 7 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be forfeited.
    • from 7 to 14 days before arrival date, forfeit 75% of deposit.
    • from 14 to 21 days before arrival date, forfeit 50% of deposit.
    • from 21 to 28 days before arrival date, forfeit 25% of deposit.
  • Important reminder - any booking will be deemed cancelled if not taken up by 19h00 UNLESS prior notification has been given for late arrival.

Disclaimer

Although all due care and attention is paid to guests′ personal safety and belongings, the owners, management, employees and associates of the Storms River Guest Lodge will not be held liable in their personal or business capacity for any loss, damage, injury or illness - direct or indirect - incurred or suffered by any guest or any other person whilst on the premises or property of the lodge.

The above mentioned includes any guest attempting to perform maintenance in the guest rooms, at the pool or on the premises in general. A member of staff must be alerted to any electrical or plumbing faults, and it is their duty to act accordingly.
